My friend Jan is getting married October 13th.  In celebration of her engagement, I made an altered book for her and her betrothed, Cameron Lowry.  I found a board book at Goodwill and used my new handy dandy Black and Decker mouse sander to wipe away any trace of Winnie the Pooh and his friends.  I then used gesso to prime the pages and Daisy D paper to decorate them.  Embellishments include a way cool shoe clamp I found at an antique store, lace from an old wedding gown and loads of buttons.

I will mail it today and I hope she enjoys it as much as I enjoyed making it.
