Today I took my mother to the airport and this evening both Chuck and I were a bit melancholy missing her.  I know that Mom won’t believe it, but Chuck even got teary-eyed thinking about our visit.  She always complained that he was too busy working to visit  during the day, but I think that he really enjoyed knowing she was lurking around the house.  Plus, she got us off our butts and inspired us to work on our yard.  It look gorgeous with all the flowers — it reminds me of a fairy garden.  Speaking of fairy gardens, check out the construction that’s been going on at our house.

I bought this terrarium at Goodwill (of course) and altered it with real and aritificial flowers.  I also used scraps of vintage jewelry, lace and photographs to make my residents.  I really had a ball creating this piece.

I think this might be my favorite picture of the Easter Queen. This was our centerpiece for Easter Dinner.  I still have some ham in the fridge which I should probably throw away before it walks away.

I love this cutie too!  Chuck says that this picture has been developed darn near perfectly.

We had a mini photo shoot on Easter Sunday.  The Easter Bunny gave Mom a subscription to Netflix.  Chucklebutt had to assist her with her gift.  They are so funny.
