What has been transpiring at the Gibson-Rice Household you may ask?  Well a mysterious package arrived in the mail today…

Okay, so maybe it isn’t quite as mysterious as I thought.  Yup!  Chucklebutt bought a CatGenie for the girls — an impulse buy* no less.  What exactly IS a CatGenie?

* – Note from Chuckle T. Butt — this was most certainly NOT an impulse-buy!  This was the result of several months of painstaking research and price-comparing… and procrastinating! 😉

If you guessed a crazy, space-aged poop box for your kitty — you’d be right!  Each week (for about the past 6 years) we have fought over who is going to change the kitty litter.  Apparently on Tuesday he had an epiphany and went online to get this mac-daddy of all litter boxes.  (Don’t worry Mom.  He got it on Amazon for a steal!)

Apparently it takes about 30 minutes for it to complete its cycle.  It scoops and washes and even hands out toilet paper (just kidding about the toilet paper.)  Daisy has already used it twice, but Scooter keeps eying it suspiciously.  They say it could take all household members a little bit of time to get used to it.  I wonder how long it will take Chucklebutt and I to get used to it? Bwahahahahhaha!  Anyway, every time I head to the laundry room, I imagine this —

We have a super busy weekend coming up and I am planning on playing catch-up on all my unfinished projects.  I have piles everywhere and I think I might be getting on Chuck’s nerves. 😀
