At the moment, life is pretty crazy. Both of my shows are in full swing, Ms. Hecate is on her last hurrah (my car) and work is busy as ever. With that said, I apologize it is taking so long between blog post. Please bear with me.
Now, where was I? Oh yes, swaps! I participated in 3 swaps while in Disneyland. I haven’t had a chance to take pics of them all, but here is my shadowbox I made for the super sweet Sylvia Estrada.
We were assigned the task to purchase a shadowbox and alter it “Alice Style.”
I found this great old photograph of Alice Liddell (the original Alice) online.
I had such a good time working on this project. I was a bit sad to give it away, but Sylvia was so sweet and appreciative it didn’t hurt as badly as I thought it would. 😀
I received my shadow box from the oh-so-cool Tina Marie.
What could it be?
Absolutely precious! I love ‘shrooms!
Tina Marie was amazing! The necklace I am wearing, she made. She was wearing it and I literally bought it right off of her. I really enjoyed meeting her and I hope to see her again at one of Kim’s events.
Check out the other shadow boxes —
The intricacies of this one is amazing.
Oh yeah — that’s a mini Patron bottle. I love how this one has the tiny tea light. Awesome!
The woman on the left is Rebecca. She hosted the swap and is such a peach.
Hey look! It’s the paparazzi. 😀 There were cameras everywhere.
This is Cheryl and she hosted the fat book swap. The final results were gorgeous. I haven’t taken pics yet, but trust me when I say that every page is a work of art.
The final surprise of the weekend, was an incredible cake presented by Valerie.
Eat your heart out Duff (Ace of Cakes guru). It was as yummy as it was beautiful.
Hope everyone is having a good week. Stay tuned for our trip into the park. The last time I was in a Disney Park, I was 6 years old.
Hi Nicole! It was SOOOO great seeing you this past weekend! I love all these pics of the Alice pieces! How much fun this must have been!!! How hard it must have been to cut into that cake!! Hope it was good! Yum!!!
I am going to bookmark your new page. Must come back for a visit!
Hugs to you!!! Judy
